At Innovate Inclusion, we build meaningful relationships with individuals and partners in order to empower underrepresented tech talent and entrepreneurs. We developed the following programs for underrepresented entrepreneurs and tech talent in Canada.
With support from Unilever Canada, Innovate Inclusion offers access to various equipment, including laptops, tablets, podcasting microphones, and cameras.
Innovate Inclusion is committed to supporting underrepresented communities by providing access to programs and services that support personal and professional growth. Equipment Assist and Conference Connect, a program that helps entrepreneurs attend critical conferences for their business growth, are two programs developed to provide equity for the Black community.
The Black Entrepreneur Mental Health Initiative (BEMHI) believes mental health services should be accessible to all That’s why BEMHI offers entrepreneurs and essential workers the opportunity to engage with culturally appropriate mental health supports and wellness sessions at no cost.

Too often, underrepresented communities miss out on opportunities to connect simply because they can’t afford the price of admission. Conference Connect is an exclusive program that provides access to individuals who have a lot to gain from being in attendance. Aside from providing a free ticket to address financial barriers, we have a larger goal in mind; to form a community committed to supporting each other.
How Conference Connection Works
Each year our Board of Directors meet to discuss the programming needs of our members. The conversation is aided by reviewing the latest research and processing member insights.Innovate Inclusion recognizes that there are community groups making great strides through unique programming. We aim to collaborate by raising awareness of successfully implemented initiatives. Any new programs developed through Innovate Inclusion are based on existing gaps within the community.
